The Grenier à Blé is a sympathetically restored property which once acted as a walnut storehouse.
We have just completed extensive renovations to the Grenier, so the gîte now has all creature comforts while oozing olde worlde charm. The beautiful, thick stone walls and large hearth with woodburner ensure that the lounge is a cosy retreat in the colder months, yet is cool and airy during the hot summers. The Grenier has its own private courtyard with patio and barbecue, and provides a convenient suntrap away from the main pool area.
The Ground Floor
The ground floor comprises a large open-plan lounge with kitchen and dining area. A charming fireplace houses a woodburner; perfect for a romantic retreat. Entertainment facilities are in the form of SKY satellite television, video, DVD and CD players. Set back from the lounge area, you will find a fully-fitted kitchen with plenty of appliances (dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, gas cooker) and utensils. A toilet is also situated on the ground floor.
The First Floor
The Grenier has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room. A cot is also available should you require it; this arrangement can be altered to suit your needs. You will also find a large family bathroom with a shower on the first floor.
Both bedrooms have wooden floors with bedside rugs, bedside cabinets with lamps and wardrobes for your clothing.
General Information
As part of the package we offer, all bedding and towels (including the pool-side towels) are inclusive in our price are laundered for you, so there is no need to bring them with you.
The Grenier à Blé is available all year round as it has oil-fired central heating. We can also cater for long lets and we would be pleased to talk to you regarding price if that is what you require.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival, and bicycles are available free of charge.
The Grenier is a non-smoking gîte. Please talk to us with regard to allowing pets to stay.
